A Little More Needle Thread Painting on the Portrait!

Hello again!

Have had a little free time in the past couple days, so I thought I'd pull some thread through this portrait! Still need to finish the bib and work on some touches on the baby.

Hope to have this finished before the end of December and I am starting to feel the pressure. It's hopefully going to be seen in my month-long show in the Amherst library, in January.

Baby Portrait Thread Painting

Hello again!

Well, I've been working on the embroidery but unfortunately my free time has been limited. This piece of my youngest, based on a photograph taken years ago was started about a month ago and recently the embroidery is actually looking pretty much like my daughter. Still not sure how successfully it will turn out, in the end but I am having fun plugging away at it.
