I'm glad to hear that your area was not damaged by the forces of Hurricane Irene. Your pork roast sure looked good in the crock pot. I like cooking ribs on a stick in the crock pot. They always turn out so tender and I never have to watch them. Perfect for an afternoon of sewing.
