"Hand-made" Quilt, Hand-quilted 4 Patch

It's been a little while since I've last posted! But, I haven't stopped sewing. In fact, it's been quilt-making time and I've completed 4 quilt tops, 3 are still waiting for their hand-quilting.

This is the first to be done. I completed it for my in-laws for Grandparents Day. It's a lap quilt for the chilly nights while they are either in Maine or Florida. On it I hand-quilted my daughter's handprints and hearts. I call it "Hand-made".



I picked a medium loft (seemed more than medium) batting for between the layers. Over time, it won't look so puffy, although some people like that look.
