Zentangle Fish

Fun little project.

Zentangle is creating patterns and textures with pen and ink. Very relaxing form of art!

Some pieces are very detailed and beautiful. I enjoyed drawing this, although it took a bit of time, more than you'd think.

Wondering 'Round Again!

Early this morning...

Eating their breakfast, right next to the road. Boy, these guys really have no fear!!!

This pic is a little blurry because I had to snap the photo while slowly navigating around the turkeys (some were very close to the road), without a co-pilot. Hey, at least I didn't immediately text while driving! :D

Finally Finished!

And just in time for the chilly willy weather!

I based this cardigan on a red children's pullover, called "Red" from the book Cable Confidence. Been in a cardigan sweater mood, lately. So I looked for a cute sweater to turn into a cardigan. The XOXOs were so cute and I love bobbles. This sweater screamed to be made!

This Time of Year

Brings out the fun things!

There were about 18 turkeys in the field. Really seem to be enjoying their breakfast!

It is usually early fall, when the wild flocks of turkeys become very active, walking around (anywhere in town). A couple times, we've had them in our yard. And to my surprise, a Turkey Hawk, a while back!!! Never hear about anyone hunting them. (Good! They are fun to see.)
