Snooped around the internet for more chain maille patterns and found a picture of a Double Vision bracelet for sale. After studying the links I tried the pattern myself.
Took a little while but I got it! Really does look like double vision. Think this this will be one of the first bracelets to do when my sterling silver jump rings arrives!

Chainmaille
For what seems to be such a simple pattern, this took hours (DaYs) to complete, but it was worth it.
Wish it were in sterling silver, however the silver plated jump rings I used are decent and seems to last. So exciting to think about working in sterling!
Jump rings are 4mm and bracelet measures slightly larger than 7 1/2.

Open Bird Cage Chainmaille
I call this Open Bird Cage because of the way the Bird Cage pattern is broken with larger rings, creating a nice opening for a bird to escape!
Jump Rings: 4mm and 8mm
This end-of-the-year teacher's gift is for a teacher both my daughters were lucky to have in school. And since my younger daughter is the last, I wanted to make something special. The teacher really has lots of energy and really kept up with the kids well. Now that the school year is over she (like a bird) can escape for freedom, even if it is for 8 short weeks!
Last fall she had a baby. I thought this would be the perfect gift for charms she'll collect along the way. Because of the double links (even the 8mm links), this bracelet should be very strong.
PS
Ran out of the 8mm jump rings, but there will be two on all. ;D

When life takes it's unexpected twists and turns, embrace them and make a bracelet!
This fun bracelet is made from 18 ga aluminum wire. The technique dates back to the ancient days of knights in shining armor. Great for MeN and WoMEn!
Thank you for visiting and seeing my latest work!
