French Beaded Roses In Vase

French Beaded Roses In Vase, originally uploaded by CraftyPease.

Thanks for looking!

Been so Spring like with temperatures much higher than normal. Gardens are blooming sooner than most seasons. I cannot wait to see my rose gardens in bloom again.

In the meantime, I have these roses that will never wilt or die. Such a fun craft and I enjoyed making these. Might try a couple of other flower and plants!

Have a great day.

French Beaded Rose

French Beaded Rose, originally uploaded by CraftyPease.

Hi all!
I can't believe how easily distracted I am, artistically! There was a time when all I wanted to do was draw. Give me a pencil and I was happy. Ever since I left the corporate world of desktop publishing / computer graphic design and reacquainted myself to the arts again, I just can't stop exploring new things!!!! To be honest, I would like to find something with which to settle down, but due to Google and all the information available, I will probably always be searching and learning.

Don't know how or why I decided to do this today when I still have to finish the beaded purse, but out it came! The technique is called french beading and I made a rose! LOL!

Thank You DivaDea!

Beaded Handbag, Purse 1

Purse Work in Progress 01, originally uploaded by CraftyPease.

This will take a while to complete. I am really enjoying the portability of this project. Never a dull moment.

So far, the purse has only glass beads. Eventually, I will be adding crystals and other goodies.

The purple flower will be fun to complete but I am really looking forward to doing the background. I plan on a fun paisley pattern using black and gray beads.
