Blizzard Warnings For This Weekend, Too!

This is taken from my driver's seat and my perspective....

Went to the store to do some last minute Valentine's Day goodies and couldn't believe how high the mounds were, in the back of the lot!!!

With the upcoming snow storm, we are really going to be banked in. Pulling onto streets is a difficult task, because the snow is piled so high on the sides, one has to literally pull mostly out onto the road to see if there's oncoming traffic.

And Still More Snow!

That's how much snow we've had, since the end of January!

Poor dog needed to have a path carved with the snow blower, so she could go out and squat!

Both pics are taken from doorways (second is a door we never use...).

That's our woodpile! It's been cleared between storms. Quite the snow cap, huh?

Another big storm! School was cancelled for a day and a half.

LOL! Most women spend their money in the malls. Not me. I love to cook and if I hear blizzard or nor'eastah, the first thing I do is head to the food store and buy the funnest foods. This storm's menu was mussels in a white wine and cream sauce, rack of lamb with roasted potatoes and fresh spinach. The second meal was left over mussels in the white wine and cream sauce and mini chicken pot pies (from leftovers on Thursday night).

Don't get me wrong, I love a spin around Marshals or Pier One but the food store is where I get to be creative and others benefit from my effort, and more.
