Watching the hats -- I mean wedding really drove me crazy!!! All those beautiful fascinators... it was like the Red Carpet of Hats.

So very motivated, I threw together a couple of my own. The black one is my favorite, probably because it's not as flamboyant. The white with the dove is much larger and is as fun as it is big!!!!!!!!!

Finished Another Top-Down, Two At A Time Sweater

Hello again!
Finished this sweater using the same method as before; working the yoke (chest, back and shoulders) all at once, and then the sleeves both at once, with circular needles (no double points), no seams and only weaving the tails with tapestry needles.

This knitting pattern really couldn't be any easier!

I really don’t like to do the last step; sewing all the pieces together.

I created this pattern (not too imaginative) so that I can knit the front, back and shoulders from the top down and all at one time. And both sleeves at one time. All on circular needles.

Really bothers me when the front and back don't match up well or the sleeves are different, even if slightly. Working the pieces at once helps a little with this problem.

Using this method, the risk of unequal pieces is minimized and I have no sewing! What's left is just weaving the tails secure with a tapestry needle.

Top-Down Raglan Toddler Sweater

Well I had some time to do some more work....

Here’s a raglan knitted from the top-down, on circular needles and when necessary (neckline, sleeves, etc), using the magic loop method.

Cotton yarn.
