Fresh Off The Needles

Just finished this for another friend's new nephew (due in a couple days).

This is an old EMU pattern that I revised to knit the front two panels and back, at the same time. I also revised the pattern so that the sleeves can be done on round needles and at the same time.

Bootie pattern is also based on a pattern, but heavily revised to be worked on circular needles.

I also hope to have new items in my Etsy shop and sweaters like this will be listed!

Thank you for visiting. Please come back soon!

Well, The Pattern Was Going So Well...

The knitting I was doing in the last post really was turning out well, so I kept going and this is what I made. It's from an old vintage baby pattern from back in the 1940s.

Although it still needs buttons and the blue ribbon around the neckline, this is definitely one more item for the Hope Chest I am keeping for my future grandchildren.

Thank you for visiting. Hope you come again!
