Polymer Scrap Barrette

Polymer Scrap Barrette, originally uploaded by CraftyPease.

This one was made from millefiori scraps. It looks really neat because the background green and yellow colors are canes created with translucent and they have a nice soft quality. The pink flower cane was made without any translucent clay and it is sharp and clear.

Thinking this one will NOT make it to my Etsy shop but instead be in my personal collection! LOL!

Group Of Polymer Mirror Barrettes

Here is a group of barrettes made from scraps of millefiori canes. I call them Mirrors because of the way the slices are reassembled.

Along time ago, I figured out this technique because of all the wasted clay and my need to be frugal! Now my waste is kept to a minimum!

Large Millefiori Cane

Large Millefiori Cane, originally uploaded by CraftyPease.

This is a huge millefiori cane. I am terrible at cutting consistently thin canes. So, I figured if I cut more than one at a time (or a bunch of canes made into one) I'd have better luck.

Small Rose Millefiori Cane

Millefiori is approximately 1" wide and 2" long. LOVE roses and love making roses.

PS
CraftyPease is me!!! LOL! It's my Flickr username. Look for me on Flickr. I am honored to say I am part of a group or very talented people; Millefiori Canes.
