tHiCk Copper Rope Chain

Copper Rope Chain, originally uploaded by CraftyPease.

Hi all!
Fun, fun! Just figured out how to make my own jump rings AND how to make a rope chain! Took a little while to overcome the hurtles; the gauge I was first using was too thin. Not sure what gauge this is (going to find out at the local box store) but it worked much better. If I had to guess, I'd say 16, 18 gauge? I know my fingers hurt....

The links on this bracelet are very large (3/8-ish wide) and would look good on either a man OR woman. Flat out, it measures slightly over 8". As a continuous bracelet, it easily slips over my hand.

Eager to try another one!

Viking Knit Green Wire With Pink Glass Beads

Hi there!
Had so much fun teaching myself this Viking weave or knitting technique! So many uses for this type of link. If the links are pulled tightly, those Pandora style beads can slide on. Knit (or woven) somewhat loosely and the wire can encase beads (like in these pictures). If woven looser, it can serve as an Add A Charm bracelet (or necklace). Lastly, it can be woven with nothing at all and be a very elegant yet simple chain.
