This sunflower is the first to open of all the slow bloomers in my yard. Around Amherst, everyones sunflowers have bloomed and expired already!

Busy day.....
After school registration and band camp, there wasn't much time left before dinner time. So I decided to re-discover a pattern I created years ago and fiddle with some spare fabrics leftover from the most recent quilt.
Definitely a fun way to use up fabrics leftover from other projects. Gonna put this in my Grandmother's Hope Chest, I started awhile ago.
