Wanted to make a nice cozy afghan as a gift... the only problem is, I had to first learn to crochet and then learn how to do an afghan square pattern. Good thing for the internet!!!!

Granny Squares
Granny Square Rose Flower
Even though I just learned how to crochet at the very end of December, I just had to try to learn this pattern!!

The pattern has a really cool 3D effect to it. It's a nice compliment to all the other flat style granny squares. Going to also have some squares with gray petals and these 3D type squares will will "peppered" all over the afghan.

Wet Felting Front Side
Had such a fun time making this. it is a lot like making paper. Can't wait to see how it looks "sculpted" into a hat!

Christmas Hat
Hubby bought me the Fisherman's Wool, Natural Brown and I couldn't wait to make a hat.
Knitted the hat and wet felted the flowers all over and then shaped on a bowl.
