Busy Week

During the busy weeks after awhile, dinner gets tedious. Doing the fast food shortcut is always a digestion nightmare and most takeout, (especially scratch kitchen restaurants' takeout) can eat into the monthly family budget (OK, I couldn't resist that Pun-ny!)

So, during these times, I like to do a nice crockpot meal, while cooking the regular meal on Sunday night.

You can see by the picture above, it's gonna be a BUSY WEEK! LOL! In one is leftover pork now simmering in a homemade BBQ sauce and in the other is a beef stew in a nice thick gravy sauce. Oh yummmmm. Coming home late and tired is gonna be so much easier next week!

Peaking Robin!

We have a robin which has been trying to come into our through one window. Flies right into the window over and over - I finally taped up crinkled tin foil where she's been hitting. Now she just sits and stares into our home, wondering why she can' come in!

Goldfinch

The Goldfinches are starting to get their yellow back. As the fall season winds down and the winter season begins, the Goldfinch's yellow becomes drab. Spring time, it's fun to see their color return!

They LOVE their Niger seeds so much and I love to watch them, I put a hook and sack on the outside window so I can watch them close up!

2.9 Earthquake!

Another earthquake in NH. This time it was near Warner NH. Felt for several towns away. 2.9, the most powerful this state has ever felt. There were at least 20 earthquakes in NH last year.
