So fun to see these blooms, inside the house. Especially when it's so cold outside and are on the threshold of a decent first snow storm!!!
Played Polly Pollinator again! Let's hope I did a good job and there's a little pepper growing.

"They Don't Work"
Once, long ago, I was told a long distance relationship would NOT work! Lost a good boyfriend on that misconception.
After that relationship, I found another great guy with whom I had a Long long distance relationship. I have to say, that was the most fun in a relationship, I've ever had. I'd do it, all over again.
I looked forward to the visits and would work for DAYS, preparing for the weekend. So much thought out. And I'd have to say, he worked on a lot of fun things on his end too. We did so much together even if we had so little time together. And now I have SO MANY great memories.
What happened? I wasn't ready to leave New England. It was a sudden change for both. But, I wish we continued things the way they were. It was the best and we experienced so much, since we weren't in the same state.
Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY! Especially at that age. We did so much and I am sure we BOTH think about those wonderful years.

I think it's funny how most of the bird portrait photos I take, the birds are facing left! 😄

As tradition, every year we go to our Amherst U-Pick pumpkin patch. This year, the rodent, deer and turkey population was so high, pumpkin patches all over suffered a lot of loss. Some U-Pick places didn't offer picking to the public, because the amount of damage. It reduced the pumpkin production so much, the patches could only supply to stores and farm stands.
We had some small damage on our pumpkins, in our backyard. BUT nothing like this!!!

First stained glass piece I did, last summer! Finally zinced and hanging in my kitchen window! The white glass looks different in the day and night.
I am finishing up another one, to sell. Maybe I'll reopen my Etsy shop....

Abuse DOES follow you throughout life. It changes forever. The faith and support of others can make a world of difference.
Always try to surround yourself with people who SUPPORT and believe in you and NOT blame you or dismiss you.

My daughter was asked to model a knit designer's latest sweater.
Laura is a student at Souhegan High School and one of her teachers introduced Laura to his wife a couple years ago. His wife remembered Laura and recently asked if she'd model Norah's latest design.
As Laura's mom, I was allowed to follow behind and photo this awesome experience, as long as I didn't get in the way. Après shoot, I took a few more pictures.

It was the best concert! Phil Collins' son played the piano and the drums, while Phil sat in a chair and sang, (taking it easy after spinal surgery).

Worse than not being believed, is being mocked.
It's unbelievable how sophomoric our President is. He's no leader, he's a bully.

Thank you Dr Ford. You are a hero to all of us, whom have been in the same situation. Not easy.
Back in the very late 1980s I finally told someone I cared for, about the experience I had during my last year of college. It took all the courage I could muster to tell. I will always remember how that person made me feel.
To this day, I regret telling that person. It was like being assaulted, all over again.

Garden's getting a bit tired and the fruit is looking a bit expired. Only a couple more picking visits!
And when the bounty's too much, dehydrating is such a great idea. Below are plums, dried into fruit leathers (fruit roll-ups).

I made this Ristra with Serrano Peppers, but because they are a fleshy, thick skin, I fear they will rot before they dry out. If it doesn't work out, next time I'll try putting them in a dehydrator.

Our visitor came again, this morning. (Date stamp on camera's a day off). I woke up very early (4:30) and had a feeling he was going to show. I kept checking the window, but he came when I wasn't looking. As soon as the morning light broke, I went out and grabbed the cam's card. Sure enough, I was right!!!

The first pumpkin picked in my pumpkin patch. It's called a Wee Be Little and it's no bigger than a Clementine Orange! This one's very warty.
My OTHER pumpkin in my pumpkin patch. Hazel LOVES to sit there and guard the bounty.
The garden's also going crazy with Banana Peppers, Cheyenne Peppers, Yellow Peppers, Orange Peppers and TONS AND TONS of tomatoes.
This is a small sample of some of the goodies!

He comes to visit at night (thankfully). Must smell the birds' discards from the bird feeder we (try to) bring in, every night. Last night he seemed a little interested in an empty flower pot, on the bench. His visit only lasted about 4 minutes.

I finally set my table up at the Amherst Farm and Craft Market!!! I'll be there every Saturday, for a few hours. Hoping each week I have more fun things added to my table.
Here, I have my cell phone stands, feather sun catchers, lemon sun catchers and a small iris panel.

These are fun pieces made from scrap glass. (Although some of the pieces were scored/sanded to find better in the composition)
This is an abstract piece. Fits the larger sized cells, too!
This is one that's called.... "Hanging With My Peeps" and is also made with scraps (but some pieces were scored and sanded too).
