There are a lot of different kinds of visitors, to the feeders. I get such a charge out of watching time, all day.
We had had cardinals, robins, chickadee, goldfinch, hummingbird, house wren, titmice, morning doves, little woodpeckers and huge woodpeckers, a black bird and a rose-breasted grosbeak! What a wonderful show to see.

Those pesky squirrels keep eating the suet I put out for the birds.
So, I made my own suet with hot and cayenne peppers mixed in. Birds don't have tastebuds and they have different digestive systems from mammals so the hot won't bother them but the squirrels won't like it! (Teehee!)

This is the first year when I have a nice bloom of clematis, since 2013. I didn't think it was that long ago, but I looked back in my photos!
Boy the days are getting hotter. Lately, keeping these babies weeded requires early morning work. So worth it, when I look out the windows.

After all the rain, the rhododendrons are starting to drop their flowers. This may be their peak.
Clematis has started to bloom! Yeah! This is the replacement plant for the pink clematis that was so badly eaten by the deer. Seems the Deer Off spray is still working, although I may spray another application. Some of the plants, like hollyhocks, are sending up their stems for their tall flowers and their not deer protected.
